Sarah's Barefoot Story
I started to sell Barefoot Books after my sons (2 and 4) came home from school singing "Portside Pirates." I wanted to share in their songs and that's when I found BB!
I love that BB teaches children more than counting and letters, it teaches them empathy, compassion, diversity, and perseverence. I also love sales, having been in it for over 30 years, and even served as a sales trainer. I love engaging with people and building relationships, but most of all, I love helping others. Whether it's to meet their needs and expectations by recommending a good book, or by doing charity work. Charity is an integral part of my life, and one of the biggest reasons why I became an Ambassador was to have a venue to allow me to give back to my community, country, and environment. I am not embarrassed to say that I have talents in some areas, such as in building relationships, managing businesses and sales, finding the bright side and humor in life to spread laughter... and I believe that when someone is blessed with a talent, sharing it with the world and spreading love, compassion, joy, and laughter is the best way to use it!
“Past the seeker as he prayed came the crippled and the beggar and the beaten. And seeing them... he cried, "Great God, how is it that a loving creator can see such things and yet do nothing about them?" God said, "I did do something. I made you."
If you would like to join my team, I would LOVE to work with you! I can assist with sales training and business management, and ultimately, I'd like to create a team where people can go to for help when they are looking for assistance in their fundraisers, or for charity! Please, feel free to message me! And if you're bored, check out my FB page to see my son's watching dragons come to life out of their storybook!
