I have worked as an instructional assistant for the past 18 years, and I have seen first hand how Barefoot books captivate a child's interests and opens up the door for learning.  In today's world of excessive digital media exposure, I think it's important to keep tangible books in the hands of our kids/grandkids.   There is no better platform to teach language, explore the world, and show a child how much they are loved, then when you take the opportunity to sit down and read a book with them.  These books are magical and the whole family will LOVE them.
