Saturday, June 18th

You’ll have plenty of time to shop our shelves and grab some great out-of-print titles!

  • Live it up at our signature Barefoot party, including dinner, dancing, and laughs at Nancy Traversy's house


We have reserved a block of rooms for the Barefoot Retreat at Aloft Lexington (USD $145/night) and Element Lexington (USD $159/night), both located at 77 Marrett Road, Lexington, MA 02421. These hotels are just few minutes away from the Barefoot Retreat venues. To receive these special group rates, you must use the links above or book your room by calling Marriott Reservations directly no later than May 25, 2022 and identifing yourself as part of the Barefoot Group staying at these locations. Rooms may sell out before then. Don't delay!

Please note that we are unable to provide childcare during the Barefoot retreat. However, you are welcome to bring your infant to general sessions if you need to breastfeed. If you are traveling with your family, we will supply you with a list of local attractions, and you are welcome to bring guests to the Saturday night party!

Barefoot Books COVID-19 policy as of 05.13.22 (subject to change): For the health and comfort of Retreat attendees and staff, we ask that all individuals take a rapid test prior to check-in. If you do not have access to a test, one will be made available for your use. All sessions will take place within our offices, which are well-ventilated and open concept. Weather permitting, we will have our lunches outside in the Bradford Mill Garden. Those who prefer to wear masks due to personal feelings and circumstances are wholly supported.
