I am the lead teacher and co-owner of Ready, Set, Grow Preschool, in Beaumont, Alberta!  I have a passion for teaching and learning.  I am committed to fostering early literacy in the children I am fortunate to work with.  I did not find Barefoot Books, it found me!  My son took the same Barefoot Book out of his school library every week for a year.  "Mama Panya's Pancakes" graced his backpack every week.  He finally admitted that he wanted to make the pancakes from the recipe at the back of the book.  We did... and surprisingly he loved them!  I later attended a conference and while I was browsing the vendor area I noticed a brightly coloured booth full of beautiful children's books.  Low and behold, there was a stack of "Mama Panya's Pancakes"!  I had to buy him a copy, and I also purchased a few sing-along books.  They are amazing and the rest is history.  It was meant to be!  I am proud to be a Barefoot Books Ambassador!
