From the way children's books shaped my own view of the world growing up, to the impact I have seen in vocabulary and comprehension from reading to my kids regularly throughout their childhood, I have never outgrown appreciation for children's literature. I discovered Barefoot Books in subscription boxes I ordered for assisting in teaching my children Spanish and was immediately impressed with the quality of the books, storytelling and care in representing culture.
