Sabrina's Barefoot Story
When I first came across Barefoot Books I fell in love with the beautiful stories and illustrations. As I came to know more about the company and products I quickly realized it was a perfect fit for me as I saw my values reflected in them. As a teacher and a mother I believe strongly in the importance of early literacy. I also feel very strongly about the importance of all children seeing themselves in the books they read. My children are mixed race and I want them to see themselves in their books and feel confident in who they are. Barefoot Books promotes such great values and I feel really good about sharing them with all the children in my life!
