I love books, I love storytelling and I love children!

My husband and I have 3 mostly grown children, a hound dog named Harvey and many children who love to be here because of my family child care home.  When I read to children, I love to see and hear that spark of curiosity, the sadness of empathy, the questions of diversity and our world.  Through books we positively impact kids’ development.  They learn problem solving skills and we support social emotional growth.  Seriously, what is not to love about books and more books?! Being a Barefoot Books Ambassador is going to be so much fun…but wait… I better get another book shelf!
