Tiffany Jean Yakubov, Community Bookseller

Hello everyone! I'm Tiffany. I am passionate about children, teaching and writing.  I have a Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education and 10 years of experience working with early childhood and early Elementary ages of birth-8 years old. I have worked a few years at a Montessori school, and I loved it! I love teaching, working with children and creative writing!  I love to inspire children and families to read and write stories together as a way to foster creativity and imagination as well as family bonding.  I myself am an avid reader, creative writer and a poet! I have a 3 1/2 year old daughter who is currently in preschool.  When I recently stumbled upon a Barefoot Books book that led me to find their website online, I knew instantly that this was the place for me!  I love creativity, using imagination and encouraging as well as inspiring children to not just have a love of literature and poetry but also a love and empathy for each other. I feel very at home here already in this beautiful community of Barefoot Books and I sincerely hope that you do too!  I look forward to talking with you via email or phone and finding the perfect book for your child, together! 

When we expand our knowledge of the world and diverse people around us we learn to understand them and embrace each other and our differences.  With this, love grows, and with love comes the peace of acceptance.
