About Me

I joined the Barefoot Books community in March 2009, and I'm delighted to be able to offer this fantastic range of books to you. It was quite easy to get involved, and I encourage you that, if you want to, you can do it too!

I'm a mum who works from home selling environment-friendly and ethical products for babies and young children. I was looking for a range of childrens books and I discovered Barefoot Books share many of the same values as the products I sell. They also share what is important to me as a mum who wants to educate my children to value our world and people around them. We have a happy little munchkin at home who gets to try out some of the books!

I trained as a painter and have lived in a few different countries so I am particularly attracted to Barefoot's range of colourful and high quality illustrations, and stories from and about other cultures.

Barefoot Books have provided a really enjoyable platform to enable me to get involved in various community events and worthy causes.  I particularly like to get involved in fundraising-  some current events are listed on my homepage.

If you live in the Angus region, I can help you to fundraise for your event with a Barefoot Stall. I can also help support your event using our online Fundraising facility- which is great if I'm a bit too far away from you, or for people who cant make it to your event.
 
If you prefer a home party, I can do that too!
