About Me

I'm a freelance writer who also stays home with my kids, a preschooler and a baby. When I left my office job 3 years ago, life did not get easier, in fact, being a stay-at-home mom may be the toughest job I've ever done! But becoming a Barefoot Ambassador has given me a virtual office and a world both on-line and out in the community to call my own again and I really love it.

When I bought my first Barefoot Book (We're Riding on a Caravan) two years ago, it ignited in me the power to share my own passions--love of travel, world cultures and art--with my young children through the books I read to them. Also sharing the world of Barefoot Books with those around me means I'm bringing that world even closer still.

Since I'm still pretty new to Barefoot, my writing is what pays the bills but the excitement and challenges of starting my own Barefoot Business and the delight of sharing great books with people makes every minute I spend Barefooting ten-times more valuable to me.
