About Me

I'm a single mom of 2 girls, Addison, who is 4, and Margaret, who turned 1 in May.  Addie and Maggie make me smile every day!    They each have their own personality, but share a curiousity for life and a love of learning new things.   Barefoot Books is a perfect fit for our family.  It stands for the simpler life, one without corporate sponsorship, without cartoon characters invading everywhere.  It is as simple as a parent and a child, sitting down and reading a story together.  It's about building connections, while learning about foreign cultures, and inspiring creativity and adventure in the hearts of our children.
