I am a retired Kindergarten teacher.  I love books and reading to children.  I have two adorable grandchildren who call me Gigi, and I kick off my shoes as soon as I enter the house.  The Barefoot Gigi is just the perfect name for my business!   My grandchildren are the reason I am excited about being a Barefoot Books Ambassador.  I love that many of the books come with their own CD which has an animated video and fun music!  The books are a treasure for the mind and the eye.  I love the amazing art work.  I love introducing them to books they won't find at a Scholastic book fair.  When my grandson was 3 his favorite book was Arthur of Albion.  It was fun teaching him about King Arthur.  Each time we pick up the book we find something new to share.  I find that is true with all of our books.  "A book is a gift you give yourself over and over again."

"Explore. Imagine. Create. Connect. Give Back.
That’s what Barefoot Books is all about. It’s exploring other cultures, our planet, ourselves. It’s making time for make-believe and letting imaginations run wild and free. Most of all, it’s about using the power of stories to nourish the creative spark in everyone and strengthen connections with family, the global community, and the earth."

I love selling Barefoot Books.  I have had success doing events at Home and Garden Shows, Small Vendor Events, Church Events, and by having Open House Events in my home.  I'm always looking for new ways to introduce these beautiful books to everyone I meet. This spring I have added doing Birthday Parties.  As a retired teacher I love being able to work with a group of small children and introducing them to the magic of reading!

If you are looking for a Team Leader I want you to know that you can count on me to answer your questions by phone or email.  I want your business to be successful!  Feel free to connect with me even if you aren't on my team.

"Books are the quietest and most constant of friends; they are
the most accessible and wisest of counselors, and the most
patient of teachers." -- Charles William Eliot
