About Me
I have always loved reading and loved books. There is comfort of having books on a shelf, all yours and at your ready to take you places. The power of books are plentiful, they foster imagination, creativity, appreciation and understanding and a love of learning. When I discovered Barefoot Books' Mama Panya's Pancakes at the library and marveled at what a beautiful story and book it is, it "sold" me on joining Barefoot Books. I am a stay-at-home-mom to my 5 year old daughter and I also work part-time, so what appealed to me about becoming a Barefoot Books Ambassador is, along with the added income, is the flexibility of the program. I can market it in a variety of ways: home/catalog parties, fundraisers, vendor events, and online, that there is no monthly sales quotas, and the low start up. They also offer a strong and supportive environment. The fact that they support social and environmental causes, such as their Donate a Book to Africa program and printing on only Ancient Forest Friendly paper, is a belief that I also share in and makes me proud to represent them. I am happy to be Living Barefoot!
