I love reading Barefoot Books to my children, daycare and baby signing classes.  Literacy can be introduced at any age.  These particular books have beautiful illustrations and creative stories for babies to children 8 years+.  As a baby sign language teacher, I use these books in my introductory session to demonstrate to parents how signing can be combined with reading and singalongs.  In addition, my daycare children benefit from these books and they are definitely a daily favourite pick!
