Sharon 's Barefoot Story

Hello! My name is Sharon. I was introduced to Barefoot Books by a friend, and fell in love with the beautiful art and multicultural stories. One day, I found that one of the books I had checked out from the library was published by Barefoot Books, and I loved the book so much that I decided to call that friend immediately and order it from her!!

The book I found was "We All Went On Safari." The illustrations and the content of the book delighted me because I have a special place in my heart for East Africa, specifically Tanzania. I spent some time there and I learned to speak and read Swahili. I'm eager to share my love of East Africa and Swahili with my daughter and both she and I are smitten by the book.

In addition to being a Barefoot Books Ambassador Sales Leader and team leader, I have my own business teaching children's cooking classes for young children. I love to incorporate our books in my classes and they really complement the international recipes we do!!

I love working with Barefoot Books. I also love the culture and philosophy of the company and I adore sharing the books with other families. I have found a community of wonderful ambassadors around the country whom I consider as friends. I have a team of 25 working with me, and I'm looking for new people to join my team. If you're looking to earn some extra money and you love our books, I will work with you to help you figure out what ways are most successful for you!

If you'd like to see Barefoot Books in your children's schools, please send me a message and tell me how
to contact the director/administrator in charge!
