About Me

My family lives in the small artsy and environmentally active community of Carbondale, Colorado at the base of picturesque Mt. Sopris.  After a few years of part-time work for a local nonprofit, I finally made the choice to stay at home full time with my two small boys.  Before motherhood, I taught third and fouth grades in a Spanish/English bilingual program for eight years.  With my business Betsy's Barefoot Books, I have chosen to focus on School Book Fairs at the preschool and elementary level, storytimes, and a few home parties.  With over a year of experience under my belt, I have much to offer new team members, especially those who need help getting started in Colorado.  Email me at BetsysBarefootBooks@gmail.com.
