About Me
I first became involved with Barefoot Books because of my daughter's love of books and my desire to stay at home with her while she is growing up. I am very excited to share my love for beautiful books with my daughter and her many friends. I love that Barefoot Books offer what I think is essential in life - enthusiasm for reading, creativity and discovery.
My own love for books and reading developed very early on in my life and I remember reading under the covers with a flashlight as a child. When I was old enough to have a job I sometimes fantasized about being a librarian or working at a bookstore. It never happened - until now. Now I own my own bookstore!
Becoming a Barefoot Books Ambassador is one of the best experiences of my life so far. I am pleased with the way my business is growing and and have great plans for the future. I have gained a wealth of experience in working year around at events of all kinds from small home parties and community fairs to large scale education conferences and marketing shows. I also sell from my home and offer free delivery in Vancouver, BC and a flat shipping charge of $9.99 within BC.
