About Me

I am a busy mummy of two young boys - 2 and 4 years old. I used to teach before the children, but decided not to go back to work. Instead I teach violin and piano from home.
I always dreamt of working in a book shop. For me, books are as necessary as food, and all I wanted was to be surrounded by them. However, practicalities of the children, meant that this dream was going further and further away, until I found Barefoot Books. I instantly fell in love with the illustrations and stories, and found that I could sell books at the same time as being a stay at home mum.
So now, I fit my Barefoot commitments round my teaching and my children. They love the books and look forward to each sale when they get to play with the puppets and read the books.
Books such as Animal Boogie and Journey Home from Grandpas are firm favourites and have been taken everywhere - even to Italy!
I have loved getting involved with Barefoot and feel proud to sell such a wonderful product.
