About Me

I have been going Barefoot since April 2002 and just love the books. I had a Christmas catalogue through the post, drooled over the artwork then read about how I could get involved with Barefoot a couple of months later. I joined straightaway without a second thought. I have no regrets and have gone from working Barefoot on a piecemeal part - time basis alongside a demanding job and family to running Barefoot full-time and also publishing Barefoot Books in Welsh.
Over the years, as a direct result of my involvement I have met some inspirational educators, parents and Barefoot Ambassadors and made some really good friends along the way. My confidence has expanded with my business and I have done things I never would have dreamt of. I've earned opportunities to go to France and Boston, and loved every minute of it.
I love that Barefoot Books combine the three things I think are essential in life - art, music and literature.
Over the years my business and team have grown and I do events ranging from home parties, fundraisers, big gift shows, agricultural fairs and educational conferences. I think it's fair to say, 'done it, got the T shirt!'.
