About Me
In 2008, I ended my 14.5-year career at Oracle to be a full-time mom to my daughter Abigail. After many months of relaxation, my type-A personality found its way back and the little voice inside encouraged me to do something constructive with my free time while Abigail is in school. So, I began volunteering at a local charity which, for me, helps keep Life in perspective.I also became a distributor (aka "Ambassador") for Barefoot Books so that I can share these amazing books with others in my community. I have been purchasing Barefoot Books for Abigail since she was born and have not been disappointed. I decided to join Barefoot as their philosophy resonates with me as a parent - publishing books which contain messages of diversity and creativity, and being part of a community which values beautiful books that engage children's imaginations and inspire them to explore the amazing world in which we live.
This new adventure is truly rewarding, knowing that I am helping families find books that will enrich their children's life experiences. I hope you enjoy them as much as we do!
