About Me

As a Barefoot Books Ambassador, I provide a traveling bookstore (home, school, and community), and an online store for shopping or fundraising.  I run a wide range of events including school book fairs, storytime/playdates, festivals, markets, expos and private home shopping events.  I also coach a national team of Ambassadors, helping them to develop their business in a manner that suits their life.

I have been an Ambassador for about three years.  I wanted a creative outlet and to re-develop some business skills that I left behind 8 years ago when we started our family (I now have 3 boys ages 7, 4 and 2).  I also LOVED the books and the mission of the company; it all ties in so well with my life.  It has been a successful and rewarding experience!   Being Mom is still my full time job, but it's nice to be growing something on the side that will keep me busy and increase the family income as they move into longer school hours.  The best thing about Barefoot for me, has been growing a team and supporting others in developing their businesses!
