About Me
I'm a retired corporate librarian who has loved and been surrounded by books since birth. My favorite childhood memories center around bedtime reading and storytelling. To this day, I can't stand to see one empty space on a bookshelf. No fear of that -- my book collections often spill over to the floor! :-) I'm a firm believer that there is no such thing as having too many books.I am so happy to have discovered Barefoot Books -- they are reminiscent of the colorful, "special," keepsake books I had as a child. Barefoot affords me a perfect opportunity to combine my love of books, education and children into one enjoyable and productive post-retirement opportunity. I sell Barefoot through a variety of ways -- to individuals, through the catalog or online store, at school book fairs, at community events, at home shows, through fundraisers. Being a people person, I just love doing community events and fundraisers where I get to meet so many interesting people and give back to my community at the same time.
