About Me

After reading about Barefoot Books' business opportunity in "It's a Storybook Life" an article in Better Homes & Gardens (Sept. 2005), I knew I had found something I would love doing for a company I admire and respect. I became an Ambassador and am now able to introduce other families to our books and mission, work with an amazing team of people, earn extra income and have fun involving our children in the process.

Highlights from my Barefoot voyage include:

- Winning a trip to Gascony, France as a top Barefoot sponsor and traveling along with one of my team members who won  for top sales volume.
- Having my Barefoot business featured in Mothering magazine, entitled "Home is Where the Job is".
- Hosting  author and illustrator book signings with Jane Yolen, Heidi Stemple, Burleigh Muten, Josepha Sherman, Caroline Curtis, Rebecca Guay and Linda Wingerter.

-Dressing up as Herb, the Vegetarian Dragon.
- Helping my team-members reach their goals in their own Barefoot business,  helping schools and organizations  fundraise in a manner consistent with their own values, and meeting so many wonderful book-lovers along the way.
