About Me

I am an educator & a children's yoga teacher in the Upper Bucks County PA area, specializing in adaptive yoga for children with autism and other cognitive/sensory/physical challenges. I am also the mother to 2 boys and a girl from ages 11-26.

Reading books & Interactive Storytelling  are both a fantasic, colorful ways to promote literacy, language & character development, encourage social skills, nurture creativitve play and spark the imagination. Stories give us a way to identify with positive character traits and solve problems. They teach us about history & cultures and entertain us-all ages-in so many other ways! I have often said that books are a timeless toy for children.

Barefoot books fit in with so many aspects of education, recreation and child development, as well as children's yoga. I usually work around a story to give my classes a basic structurem then add activities  such as games and art to enhance the storytelling.
