Barefoot Books in Ottawa has partnered with Riverside Park Nursery School to help with their fundraising. A percentage of the proceeds resulting from this fundraiser will go directly to the school. Buy your books online throughout the month of Ottawa and come and view the books in person at the school on October 30th and 31st. Please note that online orders will be mailed directly to you all orders over $60 will have a flat shipping rate of $9.99 within Canada. Osgoode Village Medieval Festival

The Village of Osgoode will transform itself into the glorious and brutal Medieval Kingdom of Osgoode – an enchanted place where maidens wear flower circlets and knights best each other with chivalry and swords. This year the Festival will have an expanded Education Day, new events for children and parents alike and additional seating for the Feast. So mark your calendars for two days of jousting, dancing, music, merchants, archery demonstrations and more! Medieval dress is encouraged but not required.
