I Took the Moon for a Walk

Beautiful poetry!

This is a gorgeous book. The illustrations are luminous and imaginative and the text is in verse form. Young children will enjoy the simple story and rhyme scheme, and older children will be able to spot poetic devices such as alliteration and metaphor. There is also great information about the phases of the moon and nocturnal animals at the back of the book!
