I Took the Moon for a Walk

Such a lovely book with folksy artwork that highlights the smooth flowing text. The illustrations are filled with nocturnal activities and nighttime animals. The factual moon phases section at the end is such an added bonus!

Great illustrations, very vibrant for young children. Bear's family is busy doing everyday activities and my youngster loved discussing all the fun they were having! Lots of items included in the illustrations for very young children to point to as they follow along.

We read this book at least a zillion times and the amazing artwork of Clare Beaton always delighted my craft loving heart! My daughter just couldn't get enough of the animals in this rhyming story, and I could always find some new detail in the illustrator's fiber collages to thrill me.
