Port Side Pirates!

Yay! Pirates!
Jun-28-2009

I've found this upbeat sing-along to be the perfect addition to any birthday party, car trip, or rainy (or sunny) play day. Dress up the kids in newspaper hats, old scarves, and cardboard swords, and have a romping fun time as you all sing, dance, and pretend to be a port side pirate.

Bear on a Bike

Happy as Can Be
Jun-28-2009

Bear is a lovable character whom toddlers will immediately cherish. As Bear allows us to join him on his travels, children will quickly pick up on the repetition and poetic flow of the story, while enjoying the vibrant illustrations that will stimulate their own sense of adventure. My two-year old enthusiastically recites this playful book back to me. Bear has led her on a journey to her own first steps into reading.

Herb, The Vegetarian Dragon

My son the veggie dragon
Jun-27-2009

Kudos to Herb the Vegetarian Dragon! Thanks to the title character's love of vegetables, my 4 year-old son James, a formerly reticent vegetable eater, has become a a veggie connoisseur! He will try any vegetable simply because that's what Herb eats. Herb not only teaches children to accept new ideas, he encourages healthy eating habits! He is the unique hero of a beautifully written and illustrated fairy tale type story that children and parents will love.
