26 Jun 2009My four year old absolutely loves this book. The story is hilarious and the rhymes are fun; he likes to help "read" by filling in the end of each sentence with the appropriate rhyming word. This is truly one of our favorites from Barefoot!

You know a book is incredible when...
26 Jun 2009...the 4 year old [deaf, just like my son!] boy you give it to as a birthday gift starts singing it in the backseat of your car during a playdate! I was so excited to hear this young friend of ours singing "oh we go this way, that way..." that I turned around and joined him. He looked a little startled, then a huge grin spread across his face as he realized I knew the song too! The Portside Pirates activity book is really fun too!
