Sadie Rose Clifford Appeal

Jan-19-2012 - Jun-30-2012

On 8th August 2009 Sadie Rose was born, weighing a very healthy 8lbs 6oz. But in October 2010 aged just 14 months old Sadie Rose was diagnosed with a childhood Cancer called Neuroblastoma. Sadie has survived front line treatment here in the UK, which has included an initial 70 days of Chemotherapy in November 2010, major surgery in February 2011 to remove her tumour which was located above her left kidney and wrapped around the main artery in the body, her Aorta. This was a life threatening operation but she came out fighting and was home after just over a week in hospital. Sadie recovered amazingly well. Now Sadie needs life saving treatment in America at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Centre. The original cost of this treatment was £500000, but having raised the money and taken Sadie Rose to America, her family were dealt another blow. Scans have revealed further tumours and Sadie now needs more treatment than the original funds will cover. The extra treatment will cost a further £150000 and the family has just weeks to raise it. 25% of all sales from this event will go to the Sadie Rose Clifford Appeal to help pay for the treatment Sadie Rose needs. www.sadierosecliffordappeal.co.uk/ Charity Number: 1135601

Kids' Kitchen

Lots of tasty (and healthy) treats!
Mar-30-2010

My four year old loves this set. He always wants to help cook our meals, but since we got this set, he really enjoys being able to pick out what he's going to make using the cards. There are a variety of recipes, from very easy to more advanced, meaning that children can keep using these cards from very young into their teens. The recipes are easy to follow and I'm impressed by the range of healthy ingredients included. We use our deck regularly, and we all enjoy the food. I recommend them to anyone with creative children, children who love to cook, or even those with children who are picky eaters - there's nothing like being involved in making the food to make them want to eat it!

Peace, Love & Vegetables Gift Set

Peace, Love and Principles

We love this set. The story is well written, and had my four-year-old on the edge of his seat. What will happen? Will Herb be alright? The story has the right balance of suspense, and had my son animatedly telling the humans they'd made a mistake. The bendy toy helps him retell the story over and over; Herb is his new hero!
