We are looking for a special individual to join our small, passionate team in Cambridge, MA as Global Sales and Marketing Director. Working closely with our Co-founder and CEO, you will be responsible for planning and implementing sales and marketing programs domestically and internationally, both short and long term, targeted towards existing publishing channels as well as new markets. You will have a proven track record cultivating business relationships and growing communities, leading and motivating an independent sales force, and driving revenue growth. In response to the lack of diverse voices in the publishing industry, Barefoot Books has established a Diversity in Publishing Editorial Internship. This internship is open to anyone who identifies as a person of color, including those of African/African American, Asian/Pacific Islander, Latin American, Middle Eastern, or Native American/Indigenous descent. This is a part-time position that will run from September through December 2017 with a one-time stipend payment of $500. Students and recent graduates will be considered.
